Zac Brown Band & Jimmy Buffett Come Together for CMT Crossroads

Known for his high-energy sold-out shows, beach inspired tropical tunes and devoted and enthusiastic fans, Jimmy Buffett will share the stage with this year’s breakout artist known for its Southern Rock and dynamic stage show, theZac Brown Band. They team up for the latest episode of the critically-acclaimed CMT Crossroads series. CMT Crossroads: JJimmy Buffeet and Zac Brown Band will tape before an invitation only audience next month in Nashville. The episode will premiere in March, 2010 on CMT.

What do you get when you put George Strait, Reba McEntire and Lee Ann Womack on the same stage?  One heck of a country concert!

George Strait has announced that he has added Lee Ann Womack to his previously announced arena tour with Reba McEntire. The tour kicks off in early 2010 and continues through late Spring.

Lee Ann jokes, “I’m trying to figure out what to wear…cause you can’t out-starch George and you sure can’t out-spangle Reba!”

Like it or not, no one can deny this has been Taylor Swift’s year and NBC agrees.   Taylor will be profiled in an NBC special on Thanksgiving night called “People of the Year.” Matt Lauer will  interview Taylor along with Susan Boyle, Kobe Bryant, Octomom Nadya Suleman, the captain who landed his plane in the Hudson River and the captain of that freighter that was attacked by Somali pirates last spring and held hostage.

When The Stars Go Blue ... Grass: Capitol's Dierks Bentley is taking January-March off to work on two albums, a bluegrass project and the follow-up to Feel That Fire. "Every album I've done has had a bluegrass song on it, so I don't think it's a surprise that someday I was going to make a bluegrass record," Bentley says. "I really want to take some time to work on two records and make them career records, and then get back on the road late spring."
